This is an art project that critically re-examines growth-driven development and civil engineering through 'Kumdori,' the mascot of the 1993 Daejeon Expo. It explores the possibilities of evolution and salvation for Kumdori—a legacy of development-era discourse—in the present day. Inspired by the exit door in the film 〈The Truman Show〉, the design concept presents a 'small door' escaping a world trapped in materialism as a visual motif, breaking conventional frameworks to depict Kumdori's journey toward true values.
