This project encompasses the catalogue and promotional materials design for artist Lee Jae-wook’s solo exhibition, 〈Study Birdsong Color, Rhythm, and, of〉. Inspired by the musical experiments of composer Olivier Messiaen, the exhibition explores the synesthetic experience of color and sound set against the natural landscape of Utah, USA.

The design concept focuses on visually translating the core elements behind Messiaen's compositions. The silhouette of the Steller's jay is woven together with Utah's topographical forms across both the cover and interior pages. Furthermore, the bird's signature feather palette is applied as the primary color across the entire cover and body text, articulating the conceptual essence of the exhibition.
