⟨Take Eyes My Off⟩ is an exhibition project at the Buk-Seoul Museum of Art that examines Korean contemporary painting from the perspective of action through the motif of the "Eye," offering visitors the experience of being both object and subject.
The design concept expresses passive qualities through gaze-tracking paths and four symbols, while active qualities are represented through calligrams blending text and geometric shapes. The calligram symbolizes the simultaneous acts of reading and viewing text. This symbolic system is deployed across the space; the four symbols are placed throughout the exhibition hall to guide visitor circulation and assist in navigating the locations of textual information.
